What “standard installation” includes
Every “supplied & installed” price on our water heaters covers a standard installation. Here’s exactly what that means, so there are no surprises.
A standard installation is a like-for-like replacement
- Same fuel type (electric, natural gas, or propane) and the same venting type as your existing tank.
- The new unit goes in an accessible location that has existing water shut-offs and connections.
- Permit included.
- Your old tank removed and disposed of.
- Installed by a licensed, TSSA-certified gas fitter, commissioned to manufacturer specifications.
What’s quoted separately
Anything beyond a like-for-like swap is quoted after a quick verification — for example:
- Venting changes or upgrades
- Code upgrades required by an inspector
- Relocating the unit to a different spot
- Converting from one fuel to another
- Non-standard connections, drainage, or electrical work
You’re never charged more without your approval. If your installation needs something beyond the standard scope, we confirm the details and the price with you before any work — and before your card is charged.
You won’t be charged until we verify your order. When you book online we place a temporary hold on your card and only capture payment once we’ve confirmed your installation details.
